50th anniversary celebration for the municipality of Uelsen - a festival for the whole family
On March 1, 1974, the municipalities of Getelo, Gölenkamp, Halle, Itterbeck, Uelsen, Wielen and Wilsum merged to form the joint municipality of Uelsen. On August 25, 2024, the joint municipality celebrated its 50th anniversary - an occasion for an unforgettable celebration!
The center of Uelsen was transformed into a lively festival mile. A varied stage program and the participation of around 40 associations demonstrated the diversity of the joint municipality. Visitors were able to stroll around, join in and experience the special community.
